Moonshot

I've been waiting years for the rising moon to hit an arc that would let me catch it right behind our memorial to the fallen. Tonight, it suddenly looked promising, leading to a frantic, seconds-count rush to build a rig to capture it. It needed 600mm of telephoto lens (300mm F2.8 plus 2x extender) to get anywhere near where I needed to be, but it was just about enough, just in time.
