Ian has spent over 25 years at the pinnacle of the international, commercial visual content industry as a Professional Photographer, Videographer, Producer and Creative Director in the domains of Lifestyle and Industry. He's also a specialist in all things Countryside and Agricultural imagery.
Ian's background is in the high-end Stock industry. In 2005 he co-founded Juice Images with former Industry giant, Anton Dentler. Juice became a world leading production company distributed by the premium segments of, amongst others, Shutterstock, Getty Images and Adobe Stock. Its unique and dynamic industrial imagery was created in partnership with the likes of Mercedes-Benz, KLM UK Engineering, Dairy Crest, Sainsburys, Currys PC World and many others. Ian also shot much of Juice' Lifestyle content, respected worldwide for being fresh and vibrant, authentic and natural. He has produced, directed and shot productions across the UK, Europe, North America and S.Africa.
Following on from the success of Juice, Ian is moving in a new direction, from his Somerset base. Using the years of experience shooting such a wide and diverse range of generic subjects, he's now focusing on personal projects associated with the environment, nature and agriculture and select commissions for clients, of all types, who require their own polished, bespoke imagery. Ian is also a CAA-certified drone pilot and brings a professional aerial platform to land-based video and stills production.
On Tech' - Ian shoots stills on flagship Canon DSLR's and video on Canon's C300 mklll cinema camera. The drone platform - 'Blue Sky Aerial' - uses DJI's Inspiron 2 and 6k, X7 broadcast-level camera. So, whether the job is a modest website or major TV production, he's got it covered.
