This page is home to my video shot using the drones. As with my stills and land-based video, I started shooting drone video for use in the world of Stock footage. Now, I'm exploring more bespoke projects.

Hugely talented Somerset artist and photographer, Carolyn Leffley, asked me to shoot drone footage of the woodland/valley areas local to this Iron Age hill fort for 'Ancient Sea', a stunning video installation she created to re-imagine the countryside as it was millennia ago, beneath the sea. While in the area, I took the opportunity to film the monument site, too. The filming required sign-off from Somerset County Council, the Duchy of Cornwall and the farmers working the land of my take-off sites, as well as pre-flight clearances from Yeovilton and Westlands control towers. This is a short compilation of just some of the footage before Carolyn selected and specially treated her pick of the clips for her video.
4k drone video shot along the epic Chisel Beach Three tranquil days in August put together, partly, to show expert angler, coach and guide, Wayne Hand aka The Shore Hunter at work with his fishing clients. We were blessed with some unusually calm seas and beautiful skies. Watch and be transported to a place of perfect peace!
A compilation of just a small selection of drone footage I've shot for Stock and which was distributed, worldwide, through all the major agencies including Getty Images, Shutterstock, Adobe Stock etc. Often this involved juggling up to three cameras on land, shooting video and stills, as well as flying and shooting from the air. Not to mention jumping in and out of a 4-wheel drive, chasing combine harvesters at speed across fields to line-up the next, best angle. It was hectic and enormous fun!
